Nintendo Wii Fit

With obesity in children and adults, being a major issue in todays society, Nintendo came out with a videogame console called Wii Fit in 2007. A distinctive feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote (Wiimote), which can be used as a hand held pointing device which detect movement within three dimensions.
Wii Fit is a video game developed by Nintendo for the Wii console. It is an exercise game consisting of activities utilizing the Wii Balance Board peripheral. Wii Fit has been found to benefit weight loss in major ways. The balance board measures a user's weight and center of gravity. The software can then calculate the user's body mass index when his or her height is given. The game has roughly 40 different activities, including yoga poses, push-ups, and other exercises. All people, young and old can find an activity that is fun for them as well as healthy.
After being named with the top 2 best selling games in videogame history, Nintendo intends to expand on Wii Fit as much as possible. Recently Nintendo has come out with a Wii Fit for pets.Your weight can be monitored right next to your favorite furry friend.
