Practice Fusion is the fastest growing EHR community encompassing over 150,000 medical professionals, 49 specialties, 303 biomedical partners, and 75 million patient records. Practice Fusion is well known for being designed a

with a small practice in mind. The User interface makes it very easy to schedule appointments, chart notes and even e-Rx from any web browser. Using the LogMeIn app, physicians can even use their iPads while on the go to monitor their information.
Practice Fusion has shown amazing progress after starting up. Over the course of the last two years, in particular, the project has grown 75% encompass over 300 employers that manage more than 4 million patient’s visits a day. In recent news, Practice Fusion has received a 70 million grant from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and institutional investors OrbiMed Advisors and Deerfield Management Company to analyze the big data in their system.
Practice Fusion has also recently released a patient aspect of the web-based EHR, known as Patient Fusion that allows Patients to review their physician visits. Its important to note that Patient Fusion is very different from online review sites such as Yelp, which allows users who have not even seen the physician review, because it encourages Patients to make ratings immediately after their visits. This allows for a database of verified reviews and an efficient physician search engine.
The CEO Ryan Howard sees Practice Fusion at a middle ground between technology and healthcare industries that can effect national health reform and potentially help health management initiatives including creating public health guidelines and reports on market trends.

“Practice Fusion really improved my practice, improved my record keeping, improved my feelings about myself as a doctor, and improved how I come across to other doctors. The $18,00 didn’t hurt , either.” – Dr. Samuel Berkman, M.D. Internal Medicine and Hematology.
